SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo is rallying support to establish its first Safe Haven Baby Box at Central Fire Station 1, offering parents in crisis a safe and anonymous option for infant surrender.
The initiative is part of a national mission by Safe Haven Baby Boxes to save lives and provide hope to families in desperate situations. The organization’s boxes ensure confidentiality and a secure alternative for parents unable to care for their newborns.
Residents can donate online by visiting tinyurl.com/hw97rzba and selecting “Central Fire Station 1.” Contributions will help cover the costs of installation and sustain the program’s outreach efforts.
Safe Haven Baby Boxes has provided life-saving resources in communities across the country. The San Angelo Fire Department encourages locals to join the mission by donating or sharing information about the campaign.
