During Tuesday's city council meeting, Midland council members overwhelming voted against a mask ordinance.

According to the San Angelo Health Department, the patient has been identified as a male in his 80s. The patient is a resident of Tom Green County. The COVID-19 death total is at 112 as of today, Nov. 17, 2020.

As cities continue grappling with the rise in coronavirus cases, the City of Midland had voted to extend COVID-19 testing hours.

After reporting 1,214 new cases and 13 additional deaths last week, Tom Green County appears to be on track for another week of record-breaking cases.
